Hi! My name is Katy Caulder.
I'm an Undergraduate Academic Advisor and the Senior Advisor for Biological Sciences! Preferred Form of Address: Katy or Ms. Caulder Pronouns: She/Her Email: [email protected] Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM |
At UofSC: I started at USC in March of 2019, and I am a Level 3 Certified Advisor through the University Advising Center. I have also completed Transfer Advising Certification. I originally decided to work in academics because I wanted to help students have positive experiences in college and feel like they had someone they could rely on to help them. I'm here to help ensure my students make it to graduation with as few hiccups as possible!
Professionally: I have a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University, and a Master's in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL. I've previously worked in athletic academic advising and success coaching.
About Me: I'm originally from Canton, Georgia, about a half hour North of Atlanta. I am married and have three dogs named Zuzu, Barkley, and Bindi. I am a fan of the (Back-to-Back CFP CHAMPION) Georgia Bulldogs, the Gamecocks of course, and the Columbia Fireflies! I love to read and watch movies, and I love Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, and you'll often catch me quoting films. I enjoy the outdoors, and love walking at the Riverwalk or around the Horseshoe.
