Steps to Transient Enrollment:
- Review your DegreeWorks audit for courses still needed for degree completion you may want to take over summer.
- Utilize the Course Equivalency Tables or the Home to Home Equivalency Tables to see what classes at other institutions or campuses equate to those at USC.
- If you need to learn how to use these tables, refer to the Course Equivalency Homepage or to the Home-to-Home Equivalency Homepage.
- If there isn't a listed equivalency for a course that you're interested in taking at another school, you can submit the Course Evaluation Request Form to have that course evaluated by the Registrar's office.
- Choose an accredited institution to attend. You will apply as a "Non-Degree Seeking Student".
- Use the information from the Transfer Tables to complete the Special Enrollment Request form for transient enrollment with the course you are planning to take.
- The form will be submitted to your advisor to sign, after which it will be signed by the Dean's office for your college.
- After you've completed the course, you'll want so submit your transcript from the school where you've taken the course. You can learn more about how to do that here.
